Chung-Hwa Buddhist Studies
The Chung-Hwa Buddhist Studies was first published in 1997. It was aimed at providing fields for graduate students and young scholars to present their research works of Buddhist studies. Before the journal was suspended in 2006, it had published 10 issues. In order to reinforce the academic research and publication in Chinese Buddhist studies, the Institute has decided in 2009 to republish the journal. Moreover, by co-operating with Sheng Yen Education Foundation, the Institute funded a scholarship for contributions, hoping that the encouragement could bring more graduate students from all over the world to dedicate themselves to Chinese Buddhist Studies. The reopening edition of Chung-Hwa Buddhist Studies is issued on December annually; however, contributions should be delivered no later than July 30th. Domestic and international students enrolled in graduate programs are welcome to submit their academic works. Prospective students with a Master's degree who are considering further study are invited as well.
